Where do your products come from?
We make almost everything in house! We are a husband and wife team, running our own laser engraver here in the Paper Sushi studio. All rubber stamps, leatherette tags and wood products are run in house. For other products, like our screenprinted totes, we work with local companies to bring our designs to life!
What if I opt out of a digital proof?
If you choose not to get a digital proof, we'll design your stamp to give you the best possible imprint and make any necessary aesthetic choices. Please be certain that all information you enter is correct, as your stamp made with that information will be final.

What kind of ink should I use?
Do your stamps come with an ink pad?
Self inking stamps have an interior ink pad included, and are ready to use as is. Rubber stamps are not paired with ink pads except in stamp sets like our bento boxes. Ink is sold separately so you can make all your own choices including color and which ink type is best for your particular use. This also ensures that you can buy multiple stamps without paying for an ink pad tied to each stamp you purchase.

Do you ship to my lovely land?
After a decade of watching our work land on doorsteps the world over and loving it, we are not able to meet the current requirements for VAT and tariff registration and remittance. We are currently only able to ship to the US, Canada and Australia. It makes us as sad as it makes you, we promise.
How long will my stamp take?
Ready to ship stamps and supplies will ship within 3 - 5 business days of purchase. Our Custom Stamps have a turnaround time of 2-3 weeks before shipping. Logo stamps, or stamps with provided artwork, have a production time of 1-2 weeks, before shipping. Rush order upgrades are available at most times.
What does free shipping mean?
Free shipping means we pay for the shipping cost of your order! If your order is $35+ or you use your rewards points for a free shipping coupon, your order qualifies for free shipping. When you select a free shipping option, please note that we will select the USPS shipping method based on shipping weight.
Do you make custom stamps?
Yes! I love bringing your custom ideas to life! You can find existing listings for custom hand lettered and handdrawn stamps as well as custom stamps with computer fonts in the shop. Or, please feel free to communicate your vision via email including sizing and design ideas, and we'll get back to you with a quote!

Can you customize an existing suite design for me?
Absolutely! I understand that your event is unique and am happy to customize the wording in any of my suites. There is no additional cost for this. I'm also happy to design completely custom suites. Pricing starts at $250 for custom drawn and lettered suites. Contact me via email for a quote!
Can I sell things I make with your designs?
Paper Sushi "off the shelf" designs are created for personal use, unless otherwise specified. Custom orders with my designs are licensed for commercial use. My Ready to Ship stamp designs are licensed for your promotional business use, on shop packaging and communications but not licensed for commercial business use on items offered for sale. How many proofs will I get?
Spelling and informational errors will be corrected and a new proof provided within one week. If you would like to see your design or hand lettering reworked, please note that you will need to purchase a new proof. The beauty of a hand lettered piece is in the unique quality of work done by hand - no two pieces are identical and that elevates the work above that achieved with computer fonts. Please expect that your lovely hand lettered piece will be unique and while done in my style, is not likely to be an exact match to any other piece.
Where are you and can I visit your shop?
I am located on 5 acres of high desert, in the lovely mountains of Central Oregon. I have a studio on my property, where all the magic happens! It is not open to the public, but you can often find me in person at the Crafty Wonderland holiday craft fair in Portland, Oregon and Renegade Craft Fairs up and down the West Coast.
Can I cancel my order?
For custom products, a full refund is available if cancellation is requested before design work has begun. A 75% refund will be offered in the event that a typeset proof has been provided. A 50% refund will be offered in the event that a proof has been lettered before cancellation is requested. A 25% refund will be offered in the event that a custom product is produced before cancellation is requested.
Orders that have been in process for longer than 10 days will be refunded with shop credit only.
For off the shelf products, a full refund is available if cancellation is requested before your order is shipped.
